Two-time Grammy award-winning reggae group Morgan Heritage is set to release three singles, Standard Entertainment and Lifestyle can report. The legendary group that was formed in 1994 and that has good connection in Kenya is going digital in the new project that will drop as a non-fungible token (NFT) one, powered by Bondly Finance.

Speaking to Word Is, Morgan Heritage’s Mojo explained;
“Non-Fungible Token is something that you can hold in the digital space. The music will be embedded in the digital art that we are releasing this Saturday.
It will be a three-unit digital art and the songs will be playing in the background. people will be getting music before it goes for sale to everybody on the normal digital service provider [DSP] ie, Skiza, Apple music,” he said.
Two-time Grammy award-winning group Morgan Heritage is set to become the first reggae artists in history to drop three songs as part of a new album through blockchain technology known as Non-Fungible Tokens(NFTs).
The three songs will entail one new single – ‘Light it up’ featuring PelleK – and two remastered songs from their vast catalog; ‘The World is Yours’ and ‘Don’t Haffi Dread.’
By releasing the songs as NFTs, powered by Bondly Finance, Morgan Heritage will become one of very few artists to do so, and the very first reggae artists in history.
